6-week HSPT WorkshoP
Grade: 8th+ | $495

Classroom Matters' 6-week High School Placement Test workshop is a comprehensive course that focuses on content-area review and test-taking strategies designed to help students achieve their desired test scores.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • A comprehensive, student-friendly manual

  • Effective test-taking strategies

  • Experienced teachers who know how to work with different types of learners

  • Exposure to the test format and scoring procedures

  • Students will review and go over the question types on each section of the test: Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Mathematics, and Language Skills

OPTIONAL:  

Classroom Matters has a partnership with Test Innovators to offer HSPT online practice exams. These are available as add-ons to the workshop.

SAT TEST PREP - SMALL GROUP
GRADE 10-12TH | $585

Classroom Matters' SAT Small Group Workshop offers an in-depth review of the new digital SAT. Students will go over content, format, and test-taking strategies. This workshop is ideal for students who would like guided practice with the various question types on the exam, as well as coaching on effective test-taking strategies.

  • Small group instruction (minimum of 4 students; maximum of 6 students).

  • Students will hone their reading and editing skills so they can conquer the writing, language, and essay sections.

  • Students will review the math section: going over systems of equations, arc lengths, complementary angle rules, radicals, etc.

  • All materials will be provided, including the 2024 Princeton Review Digital SAT Prep book.

  • This workshop includes a proctored practice digital SAT test through Test Innovators. It’ll also include 1000 targeted practice questions, full answer explanations, an online platform with interactive diagnostics and access to the account for one year. The test will take place on the first day of class.

Cancellation Policy + FEES

If you must cancel your registration, a refund (minus processing fees) will be provided if cancellation is made at least 4 weeks before the start of the class. Cancellation inside 4 weeks will be applied as a credit towards other Classroom Matters services. If the credits are applied to another workshop, a $10 change fee will apply. For all late registrations (after it has closed), a $20 fee will apply. Any cancellations that are within 4 days (96 hours) of the start of the workshop will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
