High-Impact Study Strategies

high-impact study strategies
Grades: 7th-College | SUGGESTED PRICE - $75

  • Are you easily distracted?

  • Do you want to be more productive?

  • Are you dissatisfied with your grades or test scores?

  • Are you unsure of how to study?

  • Are you wondering how much time to devote to test preparation?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop is designed for you!

We've all been told by teachers and other adults to "study" for an upcoming quiz or exam, but what does it actually mean to study effectively and how do we get the most bang for our buck? Presented by CM co-director, Lisa Miller, this 90-minute workshop will help students learn how to create a productive study environment and how to use research-based study strategies to help achieve the test scores they want.

My middle school kids were initially resistant to the idea of taking a study strategies workshop. But the information was presented in an interactive way and they both told me they learned useful strategies that they can use right away. And I appreciate that the lessons were based on evidence. I wish I had taken this workshop when I was in high school!
